Pursuant to its responsibility under the
EMS Act (35 P.S. § 6924) to guide and coordinate the development of
emergency medical programs into a unified Statewide system, the Emergency
Medical Services Office through the Commonwealth Emergency Medical Director
has developed the Trauma Patient Destination/Statewide Air Ambulance
Transport Protocol.
The statewide protocol is
effective January 1, 2005.
