Chester County EMS Council
The
purpose of the COUNCIL is to serve as a unified “Voice of EMS" providing
advice and recommendations to local and county governments, EMS and other
emergency service entities to promote the development, maintenance and
improvement of emergency services and public safety in Chester County,
Pennsylvania.
The COUNCIL is a voluntary organization
representative of consumers and health care professions including private,
public and voluntary agencies, organizations and institutions concerned
with providing emergency medical services and is established to bring
together the various elements of Emergency Medical Services serving Chester
County, Pennsylvania.
The COUNCIL shall provide impetus
and support for improvement of Emergency Medical Services in Chester
County under both normal operating conditions and man‑made or natural
disasters.
MAC
The Medical Control Committee shall be empowered to develop, monitor and make recommendations regarding the delivery of Advanced and Basic Life Support within Chester County. It shall also help to insure adherence of the system to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requirements as set forth in legislation, rules and regulations.
